Oats – Meatballs

The recipe does not use minced meat, but only vegetarian ingredients – among other things
for the mass bananas, oatmeal, cheese and onions. Enjoy with a salad or use as a patty for a burger.
Hafer - Frikadellen
Ingredients for vegetarian meatballs:

2 red onions
1 banana
150ml milk
2 eggs (M)
2 teaspoons curry
Salt, pepper from the mill
250 g pithy oat flakes
150 g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
2 tbsp canola oil
Optional tomato ketchup for serving

Preparation:
Peel and finely chop the onions. Peel the banana and mash it in a bowl with a fork.
Add the onions, milk, eggs, curry powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 pinches of pepper and mix until smooth.
Add the oat flakes and cheese and mix, leave to soak for 15 minutes.
Form 8 meatballs from the mixture with moistened hands. Heat the oil in a coated pan.
Fry the meatballs for 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and serve with tomato ketchup, if desired.
