The noodles were prepared in a correspondingly simple manner and without much chichi. There are several different recipes, but one of the classic ways of preparing stroncatura is with olives, chili peppers and anchovies.<\/p>\n<p>The consumers &#8211; poor farmers in the area &#8211; simply mixed in an extra portion of spicy sauces to counteract the sour taste and also helped themselves with the strong aromas of sardines and anchovies.<\/p>\n<p>Still, that didn&#8217;t go down well with everyone. When a noticeably large number of sick people could be associated with the special type of pasta, it was officially banned, which means in Calabria: only offered under the counter without a label.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n320 gr wholemeal spaghetti (or Stroncatura pasta)<br \/>\n300g fresh or canned tomatoes<br \/>\n20 gr of anchovies in olive oil<a href=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura02.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1792 size-medium\" style=\"border-radius: 15px; border: 2px solid #DF0000;\" src=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura02-300x198.png\" alt=\"Stroncatura- the forbidden pasta\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura02-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura02-768x508.png 768w, https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura02.png 823w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n30 grams of black olives<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp capers in salt<br \/>\n1 chilli<br \/>\n60 gr breadcrumbs (60gr)<br \/>\n1 clove of garlic<br \/>\nExtra virgin olive oil<br \/>\nSalt<\/p>\n<p>In a large frying pan, saut\u00e9 the anchovies with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over a low heat, together with the clove of garlic and the sliced chilli.<br \/>\nAdd the salted capers and coarsely chopped black olives to the dip and brown for a further 1 minute.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura01.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1791 size-medium\" style=\"border-radius: 15px; border: 2px solid #DF0000;\" src=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura01-300x200.png\" alt=\"Stroncatura- the forbidden pasta\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura01-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/stroncatura01.png 584w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIf necessary, add the previously prepared tomatoes (or the tomato sauce) and cook over a medium heat for about 10 minutes.<br \/>\nToast the breadcrumbs in a non-stick pan with a drop of extra virgin olive oil until golden brown.<br \/>\nCook the whole wheat spaghetti (or stroncatura pasta) in boiling water and drain al dente (a few minutes before the cooking time on the label).<br \/>\nFry the spaghetti in the pan with the sauce, stirring, until cooked.<\/p>\n<p>Serve the spaghetti sprinkled with the toasted breadcrumbs.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy your meal!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/rockhand.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1330\" src=\"https:\/\/designtoweb.de\/kids\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/rockhand.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"211\" height=\"50\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The stroncatura was a poor food.
